How do I set up auto-updates for the tonebase App?

We are very excited to have finally brought to you all a new mobile app version of tonebase!


While we now have both iOS and Android app versions available for our members, we will be frequently making updates to the app to improve the experience and make it as frictionless and enjoyable as possible. Keeping your tonebase app up-to-date with the latest version is crucial to ensure you are experiencing the app's full potential.


In this post, we will guide you on how to turn on automatic updates for the tonebase App on both iOS and Android.


iOS (Apple) Users

How to turn on "App Updates" on iOS

  1. Open the 'Settings' app on your device.
  2. Scroll down and tap on 'App Store.'
  3. Toggle on the 'App Updates' option.

Once you have turned on automatic updates for the tonebase app, your device will automatically download and install the latest version of the app as soon as it becomes available.


Android Users

How to update all Android apps automatically

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Settings > Network Preferences > Auto-update apps.
  4. Select an option:
    1. "Auto-update apps at any time" to update apps using either Wi-Fi or mobile data.
    2. "Auto-update apps over Wi-Fi only" to update apps only when connected to Wi-Fi.


By selecting the 'Auto-update apps' option, you have enabled automatic updates for all the apps installed on your device, including tonebase!


How to update individual Android apps automatically

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.
  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.
  3. Tap Manage apps & device.
  4. Tap Manage, then find the app you want to update automatically.
  5. To open the app's "Details" page, tap the app.
  6. On the app's "Details" page, tap "More."
  7. Turn on Enable auto update.


All Done! Your tonebase App will now be up to date.

That's it! You have successfully enabled automatic updates for the tonebase app on both Apple and Android app stores. You can now sit back and enjoy using the up-to-date app without worrying about manually updating it.
